The Balls Series dance season has begun on the Tweed

The 2013 Ball Series dance began at Burringbar on Saturday night giving enthusiastic locals a chance to dress up and let their hair down.

It was a winning family night for the locals of Mooball who took out the Tiny Tot Miss Bree Keanie, Tiny Tot Beau Liam Keanie, and Junior Miss Shari Keanie sections of the contest.

A seasoned dancer, Cameron Tartan took out the Junior Beau (he had the Uki title last year) , Helen Stubbin is the Matron of Burringbar and a regular Mr Jim O'Brien took out Senior Beau.

The winner of Miss Burringbar 2013 is Miss Caitlyn Mullington.

The next Ball will be at Stokers Siding this Saturday night the 20th of April from 8pm.

It is another chance to get out that pretty dress, or find a pair of trousers, and put some dancing shoes on. A night of dancing, socialising, and good company will be had by all.
