HOMELESS people will not be forgotten this Easter thanks to Tweed pastor, Lyn Borthistle.

Pastor Borthistle doesn't preach from a pulpit, she gets out there among the poor and helps them.

"I don't believe in spruiking Christianity,' she said.

'And I'm not one to sit on a pew."

Pastor Borthistle will bake a meal and prepare desert, then give it all out to homeless people at Goodwin Park, Coolangatta on Sunday.

"I believe in spreading love, not judgement,' she said.

She was busy on Thursday making marshmallow bunnies for Sunday.

"My way of sharing love is to feed the poor," she said.

"That's what a true Christian would do."
