Lambassador is coming to town
SAM Kekovich will visit Kingscliff "with a well-kept suit and an esky full of witty one-liners" tonight.
He'll also bring Sam and Lamb Coles competition winners Reon Felsman and Amanda Hinze some beers, wine and enough lamb to feed a small city for a week.
Mr Kekovich loudly said he would bring a prize money could not buy.
"Me! That's right: one walking, talking, amazingly life-like Sam Kekovich, at your house!
"Hosting a fully-catered lamb barbecue for 20 of your closest friends."
He said he would bring the lamb, chef Gary Martin from Mario's and Alto Bar Broadbeach and a $5000 barbecue.
"Stuff it! I'll even let you keep the barbecue.
"Think of the possibilities: lamb, me, friends, barbecue, lamb, me, lamb, me, lamb, lamb; lamb!
"You get the picture!? I'm Sam Kekovich," the Lambassador said.
Mr Felsman said he was looking forward to tonight's revelry aided by Mr Kekovich's hardly-restrained personality.
"The beers will be flowing, so it doesn't matter if he doesn't shut up about lamb."
He and Ms Hinze bought a lamb roast at Coles Gatton (east of Toowoomba) which allowed the pair to enter the online competition.
"It'll be great," Mr Felsman said.
"They'll set up a bar, get a chef to cook for us - it's not bad just for entering a competition."
The lamb-fueled party will run from 7-10pm tonight.
