Theatre star flutters into Tylagum fresh from New York

TYALGUM was buzzing at the weekend when international theatre star Hayden Tee visited the village for the second time.

Supported by Sydney-based performer James Wright, and hosted by Hearts Aflame Productions, Mr Tee put on a lively show to a packed Tyalgum Hall.

Production manager Solar Chapel said it was always great to see people travel far and wide to enjoy good music in Tyalgum.

"We get a lot of people from all over come to our shows," Mr Chapel said.

"It was a good mix of locals, people from the Gold Coast and some from down Byron way."

Mr Chapel said offering dinner and show packages with Flutterbies Cafe meant the show also brought attention to Tyalgum's other businesses.

"Hearts Aflame offers lots of different events," Mr Chapel said.

"We're very passionate about continuing to bring high quality acts to Tyalgum.

"And also to showcase the hall, which is such a great treasure."

Mr Chapel said Hearts Aflame Productions put on a variety of events, focusing on music, dance and theatre.
