
Theodore man killed in ultralight accident
INVESTIGATIONS continue over the death of a local Theodore man yesterday.
The man's name is yet to be officially released by police.
The 43-year-old attempted to take off in a powered parachute, from a private airstrip on a cattle property at around 8am yesterday.
A powered parachute is an ultralight flying aircraft consisting of a cart, engine and parachute.
For unknown reasons the man's aircraft took a nose-drive and crashed into a field on the property, located around 10km South of Theodore.
He was located deceased shortly after the incident.
