Thieves bust into Murwillumbah cars overnight

POLICE attended two car break-ins last night in Murwillumbah.

Tweed Byron LAC duty officer Inspector Jim Kain said between 9pm and 11pm last night a car parked outside a Myrtle St residence was broken into "by unknown means".

No property was taken.

But later that night, between 10pm and 11pm, a ute in Eyles Ave was also broken into and a cordless power drill and toolbox were stolen.
