Three men treated for fume inhalation at sugar mill

THREE men have been taken to hospital after being exposed to fumes at Condong Sugar Mill this morning.

A NSW Ambulance spokesman said they were called to McLeod St about 10.15am (NSW) after three men were exposed to "excessive amounts of carbon monoxide". 

Two men were transported by ambulance to Murwillumbah Hospital, while one was taken to Tweed Hospital.

The cause of the gas exposure was not yet known.
