Tiger to use main airport terminal
BREAKING: TIGER Airways will operate out of Gold Coast Airport’s main terminal starting next week.
The airport this afternoon announced its victory in getting all airlines to use the airport’s Terminal 1.
Gold Coast Airport’s chief operating officer, Paul Donovan, said the move would make for a more pleasant flying experience.
“Last year we opened our $100 million purpose-built low-cost carrier, common-user terminal,” he said.
“Currently all domestic and international airline services that operate out of Gold Coast Airport, with the exception of Tiger Airways, use this terminal.”
Tiger will make the move on June 10.
