Titans count injuries

THE Gold Coast Titans, equal with Brisbane on eight points after beating the Cowboys away on the weekend, have injury concerns as they prepare to take on the Raiders.

Props Aaron Cannings (dislocated shoulder) and Brad Meyers (A/C joint) are both under a cloud. Meyers, who is the more serious of the pair, will have scans today and is expected to miss the weekend clash with Canberra.

Titans skipper Scott Prince says the Raiders will have their tails up after successive wins.

“We've set the standard with our defence,” Prince said.

“It was rock solid against the Cowboys and to minimise their point scoring with JT (Johnathan Thurston) and Matty Bowen, the coaching staff took their hats off to the boys.”

Prince said having Preston Campbell in such wonderful form had made his comeback from a hamstring injury so much easier.

“Presto is enjoying his football. It's a scary thought with Preston being confident. But we can't afford to be complacent against the Raiders, they're coming off two good wins.”
