Titans cruise over Cowboys
GOLD Coast continued its mid-season surge with an eye-catching 28-12 win over North Queensland at Skilled Park on Friday night to finally break its home hoodoo.
Ridiculed as 150:1 premiership outsiders after a horror start to 2012, the Titans' disposal of a quality Cowboys outfit would have had bookmakers running for cover after their third straight and most impressive win.
"We've got a pretty good strike rate against them," Titans skipper Scott Prince told Grandstand.
"But they're a team where if you don't bring your attitude and commitment in defence they'll carve you up, which they showed in the last 10-15 minutes.
"But it's very pleasing for the boys to back up another win after two hard road trips."
