Tweed art explosion: Toast to the JamFactory
HANDCRAFTS and drawings from a local artist are among a diverse array of new offerings at Tweed Regional Gallery this festive season.
Designing Craft/Crafting Design: 40 Years of JamFactory opened on the weekend and presents new work by 40 artists, craftspeople and designers who have had a significant involvement with the Adelaide not-for-profit artist centre.
For anyone who would like to give unique locally produced gifts this Christmas, the fifth Artisan Handcrafted Market on this Saturday will feature the works of a dozen artists and artisans from the Northern Rivers.
Bilambil Heights resident Rosemary Upton has an exhibition of her drawings including a magnificent fig tree in Condong and an old pot of Ixora at her back doorstep.
