Toddler kidnapped from Bali hotel is back with family

A TODDLER who was snatched from a Bali hotel room is back with his French family while his accused kidnapper is under investigation for human trafficking.

Joaninha Maria Sonia Gonzales of East Timor had allegedly been drinking with the two-year-old boy's father when she accompanied him back to their hotel room last week.

When the father was sleeping she allegedly took the child to a rented house where he was discovered in the care of her boyfriend the following day.

According to Gonzales told police she wanted to look after for the child but officers were investigating other motives.
