Traffic delays at Palm Beach
DRIVERS motoring through Palm Beach on the Gold Coast Hwy will run into road works for the next fortnight.
The works started today on the southbound lane, between Nineteenth and Fifteenth Avenues.
Workers will be on site from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
Drivers can also expect speeds to be reduced to 40kmh and on-street parking closed from Gold Coast Hwy between Nineteenth and Thirteenth Avenues
For bus-users, the Fifteenth Ave southbound bus stop will be temporarily closed and moved 80m north and the north and southbound bus stops on Nineteenth Ave will close with the Twenty-first Ave stop (about 300m north) the alternative.
Police and traffic controllers will be on hand.
