Tributes to firie flooding in

KINGSCLIFF firefighter Andrew “Packy” Turnbull, who died of a suspected heart attack while attending a grass fire at Fingal on Friday night, has been fondly remembered by family and friends.

Mr Turnbull's cricket team, fourth grade at Cudgen Cricket Club, won their game on Saturday in honour of their fallen team-mate

He was remembered by his team as the man who hit the biggest sixers with the bat in his left hand and was honoured as man of the match.

More than 450 people have also flocked to Facebook to join memorial group website, “In Memory of Andrew Packy Turnbull”, to pay their respects online with messages and their favourite photos of the Kingscliff identity.
