A TRUCK driver was taken to Tweed Hospital early this morning following a crash at Chinderah.

The accident occured around 2am this morning 150m north of the Murwillumbah exit northbound on the Pacific Highway.

The Tweed District Rescue Squad attended and cut the driver free from the wreckage of his truck.
