Tugun surfing buddies feature on My Kitchen Rules tonight

THEY sported colourful safari suits last night, but tonight the Gold Coast boys are ready for business.

Paul and Blair, surfing mates and teachers from Tugun, will be cooking up a storm on Channel Seven's My Kitchen Rules.

The friends will be representing Queensland in the first round of the show known as instant restaurants.

They will be hosting judges and celebrity chefs Pete Evans and Manu Feildel, along with all the other first round contestants, at one of their homes in Tugun.

The pair, both physical education teachers and dads, have consistently said they are not dessert people and will be focussing on dishing up something healthy and tasty.

Blair previously told APN they had been cooking together for years and have a passion for Asian food, particularly Balinese.

"You can't cook one thing all the time and we knew we'd struggle when it came to desserts," Blair said.

"We don't eat them and don't cook them."

Watch the show on Channel Seven tonight from 7.30pm.
