Tweed business excellence awards to launch this month

MURWILLUMBAH business owners are invited to a sneak preview of a gala awards night that will be staged on October 12.

The launch of the Business Excellence Awards Tweed Shire (BEATS)will be staged at Summergrove Estate at Carool on July 11.

Chamber President Toni Zuschke said it was an opportunity for businesses to network with key local figures involved in the awards including the media, Destination Tweed, Tweed Shire Council and Southern Cross University.

There will be raffles, lucky door prizes, live music, exquisite canapés and free champagne on arrival.
