Tweed candidates face the voters

CANDIDATES for the electorate of Tweed at the March 26 state election will face off at a candidate forum on March 17.

The forum will focus on a range of social and community issues including regional transport and housing, youth, aged and disability services. The forum will be run by the Northern Rivers Development Council in partnership with Community Voice at the Tweed Civic Centre (South Sea Islanders Room) in Brett St, Tweed Heads.

“The community sector is critically important to our region, not only socially, but economically as one of the biggest industry employers in the region,” a NRDC statement said.
