TWEED Heads Seagulls continued their winning run with a convincing 42 to 12 against the Central Capras at Rockhampton on Saturday in the Intrust Super Cup.

With Michael Burgess and Cory Blair scoring doubles and Jamal Fogarty, James Roberts, Tom Merritt and Caleb Binge scoring single tries.

The win makes it four wins in row for the Seagulls. "After a slow start with the Central Capras scoring the first two tries and us being down 8-0,our guys had to raise their intensity," Tweed Heads Seagulls CEO Shaun McRae said.

And raise their intensity they did going into the half time break 20 to 8.

"It was a very pleasing effort."

The Seagulls also got a welcome boost from Gold Coast Titans recruit and Tweed product Ryan James who was playing for the squad.

"Ryan played very well and was very powerful."

The Seagulls' next game will be this Sunday against South lagan Magpies at Piggabeen Sport starting at 3pm.
