Tweed Heads West man bailed after alleged break and enter

A TWEED Heads West man has faced court over an alleged break and enter on Monday.

Anthony Frederick Craddock, 53, allegedly broke into the Kennedy Dr home of Jess Gleeson on Monday evening.

He allegedly assaulted Bernie Gleeson and stole number plates from his car the same day.

Craddock was required to lodge a $5000 bail surety and is not permitted to go within 100 metres of Mr Gleedon's home, and a number of Tweed business premises, while on bail.

He faced Tweed Heads Local Court this week, charged with aggravated enter of a dwelling with intent, using a carriage service (mobile phone) to menace, harrass or offend, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and larceny.

He lodged no pleas and the matter was adjourned to Lismore Local Court on November 17.
