Tweed man behind bars for outstanding warrants

A 36-YEAR-OLD Tweed Heads West man has been locked up on charges relating to an outstanding warrant.

Police took the man into custody at 9.30pm last Saturday and he was refused bail to appear at Tweed Heads Local Court.

He was charged with outstanding warrants for resisting police, failing to appear at court and having goods in custody suspected of being stolen or unlawfully obtained.
