Tweed region Anzac Day services

Anzac Day services planned for the Tweed region this Monday include:

Burringbar

Assemble at the old bakery at 8.45am for the march to Memorial Service to commence at 9am. Refreshments and bowls at the Sports Club after the service.

Coolangatta/Tweed Heads

Dawn Service 5.55am at the War Memorial, Chris Cunningham Park, Wharf Street, Tweed Heads.

March assembles at 5.45am (on front corner of park nearest to Twin Towns Services Club), departing at 5.55am. Followed by service and breakfast.

Coolangatta/Tweed Heads

Citizens Service 10.15am at the War Memorial, Chris Cunningham Park, Wharf Street, Tweed Heads.

March assembles in Goodwin Park from 10am. Children’s parade will depart at 10.23am and the main parade at 10.30am. Followed by service at the War Memorial in Chris Cunningham Park commencing at 11am.

Kingscliff

Dawn service held at the Cudgen War Memorial at 4.28am. Main service assembles at Turnock Street and Marine Parade at 10.30am for the march to the memorial.

Pottsville

Assemble at 7.30am at Pottsville Oval, march off at 7.45am for the service at 8am at the community hall. Breakfast at the club after the service.

Murwillumbah

Dawn Service assembles at Westpac Main Street at 5.10am for march off at 5.20am. Breakfast in the club at 6am.

Main service – Marchers assemble Brisbane St and other organisations assemble Main St opposite Post Office at 10.10am.

March off at 10.30am for Cenotaph service at 10.45am. Transport is available for non-marchers at the assembly area.

Tumbulgum

Dawn Service at Memorial Gates at 4.28am.

Tyalgum

Dawn Service at Memorial at 5.15am. Breakfast in the hotel after the service.

Uki

Dawn service at War Memorial at 4.20am. Breakfast in the hall after the service.
