Tweed schools close and buses interrupted due to flooding

A NUMBER of Tweed schools have been affected by floods, power outages and utility failures and will be closed today.

Schools may open as conditions improve, but parents should make contact with the school if they have any doubts about closures, or if their school is not on the list below.

Students and staff should take care getting to school and avoid unnecessary risks.

Some school bus services will be interrupted by road conditions and parents should contact bus operators for more information.
