Tweed woman, 65, convicted of supplying cannabis

A 65-YEAR-old Tweed Heads woman was convicted of possessing and supplying cannabis in Tweed Heads Local Court on Monday.

Marie Ann Jennings pleaded guilty to three counts of supplying a prohibited drug, one count of possessing a prohibited drug and one count of dealing with the proceeds of crime.

Jennings was sentenced to a two-year good behaviour bond, with supervision by probation and parole.

She was arrested on April 28 at a Florence St, Tweed Heads residence.
