Twilight fever strikes early

TWILIGHT fans can sink their fangs into tickets for the last movie in the series - a whopping three months out from its release.

Event and Birch Carroll and Coyle, which runs cinemas at Coolangatta and Robina, were the first in the world to offer pre-bookings to Breaking Dawn: Part 2 this week.

Paige Matthews, duty manager at BCC Coolangatta, said the films get busier every year.

"The Twilight crowd is fun. It's good to work the midnight," she said.

"They dress up in either their pyjamas or Team Edward and Team Jacob shirts."

The movie is due for release at 12.01am on Thursday, November 15, in Australia.

The film sees Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) become parents, Bella become a vampire and the Cullen family uniting with other vampires to protect their newest family member.
