Two bodies found inside plane that crashed into NSW river
THE bodies of a pilot and his passenger have been found inside a plane which crashed into a NSW river early Wednesday.
Emergency services were alerted when an Ultralight fell from the sky above Tuggerah Lake, about 200m offshore, on the state's Central Coast.
The plane sank and divers found the 64-year-old male pilot and his 70-year-old female passenger still inside about 1pm.
A salvage operation was under way yesterday afternoon.
The cause of the crash was yet to be determined.
