Two die in collision

TWEED police have confirmed the identities of two men killed in a car accident at Mooball on Saturday afternoon.

One man was from Stokers Siding, the other from Mooball. Both men were aged in their mid-30s.

Initial investigations revealed two cars collided on Mooball-Pottsville Rd just after midday.

Both men were in the same vehicle.

The driver of the second car, a 42-year-old man, and his son were both taken to Tweed Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are continuing their investigation and are yet to identify the cause of the accident.
