If you are missing a pontoon or two the police can help

TWO large pontoons have washed ashore and Queensland police are trying to find the owners.

The two pontoons are of steel construction and approximately 3-4m square and 1m high.

They washed up at Palm Beach and are believed to be a casualty of the January 2013 floods.

Police said the topside of the pontoons appear to have handrails or something similar attached.

The Department of National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing are looking for the owners if you know whose these are contact the Queensland Police on their Facebook page: facebook.com/QueenslandPolice
