Tyalgum loves Doot and Doot loves Tyalgum

ALTERNATIVE country band Doot likes Tyalgum so much that they're coming back.

"They seemed to like us," singer and acoustic guitar player Dave Irving said, of the Town south-west of Murwillumbah.

"Tyalgum was a really good gig and they seem to know their music, which is a refreshing thing."

The country music sensation released their self-titled album Doot earlier this week.

The new album has seven original tracks inspired by country musicians famous throughout the 60s and 70s such as Gram Parsons and The Birds.

Their original track Worn Out Engine, which is featured on the EP, talks about a worn out love affair and is worth a listen.

Doot can't wait to visit and you can check them out at the Tyalgum Pub on Sunday, June 23 from 2pm until 6pm.
