Tyalgum will be Les Miserables star’s only Oz gig
THE star of the new Australian production of Les Miserables will perform only one domestic concert when he returns from New York later this year for rehearsals - in Tyalgum.
Fresh from a run of theatre roles and cabaret shows in New York, San Francisco, Pittsburgh and, Singapore, Hayden Tee will take to the stage of the village hall for an intimate supper club style show in May.
It will be a case of welcoming the village's favourite adopted son back to the fold, says Solar Chapel of Hearts Aflame Productions.
"Hayden first performed at the Tyalgum Village Hall in 2007 - quite early in his career," Solar said.
"It was an absolutely magical night that inspired us to establish Hearts Aflame Productions so we could bring more headline acts to the village," he said.
Tickets for Hayden Tee: Live in Tyalgum are priced at $65 for the show only or $95 for the dinner-and-show package.
The show will be staged on Friday May 2 and Saturday, May 3.
