FOR Jane and Selau Mailata their Wednesday wedding was not only the perfect day, it was the perfect date too.

The couple was one of many that decided to say "I do" on 12/12/12.

Jane caught up with The Daily Examiner shortly after the ceremony at St James Church in Yamba just before her photo shoot and reception at Angourie Rainforest Resort.

"It was a great date that sounded really strong," she said.

"We never really wavered from it and everything just fell into place."

Jane's family is originally from Yamba but the couple live in Brisbane.
