United defeat Pacific Pines, score 10 goals
FOOTBALL: Tweed United are flying in the Gold Coast Metro North League, thumping their rivals on Wednesday night.
Away to Pacific Pines for the mid-week clash, United were able to put 10 in the back of the net for a commanding victory.
Coach Mark Griffith said he and his team were gaining in confidence with every victory.
The reigning coach of the year said his side were becoming very pleasurable to watch.
"I am very pleased with the way the team played and a big result to prove it,” he said.
"The team is starting to play a very attractive brand of football.”
United are back on home soil for their next match, facing the bottom of the table Canungra.
Kick-off will be at at 7pm, at Arkinstall Park.
