Unruly 'Facebook' party shut down after three police visits

A "FACEBOOK" party in North Rockhampton's Alexander St was shut down after police were called out to the address on three separate occasions.

Around 250 invites were sent out to people via Facebook to the Saturday night party.

However, police said they were unsure of the actual attendance.

Several police units were sent to the address to check on the attendees and noise levels, and on the last occasion the party was shut down.

No offences were committed on the night, and the party goers were moved on by the police.
