Vacation care answers working parents prayers

IF you're juggling boisterous kids with a career Tweed Shire Vacation Care may be able to help.

During the school holidays program children will have an opportunity to try a variety of activities such as arts and craft, fun games and dress ups.

Meeting new friends and of course also healthy nutritious and tasty afternoon snacks all make for the perfect school holiday destination for your kids.

"The children are having a ball here today as they do every day," director Claire Ashton said.

The Tweed Shire Vacation Care Inc and Tweed After School Care have been established since 1984 to meet the childcare needs of working families of the Tweed.

From those humble beginnings the service now has two locations in Tweed Heads and Murwillumbah.

Tweed Vacation Care operates during all NSW school holidays and public school pupil free days.

It will be offering another program during the Christmas school holidays.
