GET a leg up this Valentine's Day and treat your loved one to a night of erotic food and tantalising entertainment straight from the pages of Moulin Rouge.

Drift Brookwater will present 50 Shades of Red, a romantic evening filled with energy and sass.

Owner David Moore said the event was all about turning the traditional concept of St Valentine's Day into a fun-filled night.

"Valentine's Day is about love," Mr Moore said.

"Love can apply to your wife, husband, girlfriend or boyfriend but can also be between close friends, your family and your friends.

Love can apply to your wife, husband, girlfriend or boyfriend but can also be between close friends, your family and your friends.

"This Valentine's Day I wanted to give people the opportunity to celebrate with more than just the one they love the most. After all as they say, laughter and fun is the best aphrodisiac, so why not."

Drift resident diva Venessa, together with Outback Spectacular lead singer Graham Moore, will present Spectacular Spectacular - a cabaret show complete with burlesque dancers and street entertainers.

"We have a fantastic line-up of some of the best entertainers in Queensland and I'm so excited to be working with them," Mr Moore said.

"We thought about putting an empty bowl at the front door for people to drop their keys into - but then when we started getting bookings with people bringing their whole family we thought better of it."

The evening includes a decadent three-course dinner served with selected bubbles, wine and beers for $89 per person.

"Drift is offering tables of either 8 or 10, where people can either book a whole table, or they can join other people they don't know and make some new friends," Mr Moore said.

Bookings can be made by phoning 3814 6100 or by visit driftbrookwater.com.au.
