Vampire Diaries stars set to divorce
PAUL Wesley and Torrey DeVitto are set to divorce.
The 'Vampire Diaries' star and the 'Pretty Little Liars' actress - who met in 2007 on the set of 'Killer Movie' - have decided to call time on their marriage of just over two years.
Paul's representative told People: "Paul and Torrey have decided to amicably split. They will continue to remain good friends."
The couple were married in a private ceremony in New York City in April 2011 and Paul, 31 - who has also appeared in 'Vampire Diaries' - has spoken out about working with his 29-year-old spouse.
He said: "It's fantastic because otherwise we'd be 2000 miles away, Los Angeles and Georgia, so it's very nice to be in the same geographical location."
Paul and Torrey's split comes soon after their 'Vampire Diaries' co-stars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev ended their three-year romance, with friends blaming the 10-year age gap between Nina, 24 and Ian, 34.
A source said: "There was no mean spiritedness behind of either of their motives for ending it.
"The relationship kind of brewed out of a friendship and the fact that they had to get into a romance for the show. The breakup was inevitable.
"I think she decided she wanted to experience other things."
