Vampires returning to the Tweed for final Twilight chapter

THE epic love story between Edward Cullen and Bella Swan continues in the highly anticipated final instalment of the Twilight Saga.

The saga, which started as a series of four vampire-theme fantasy romance novels, by American author Stephanie Mayer, has since turned into a worldwide phenomenon with five films and millions of "Twihard" fans.

The much awaited Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 will be released next Thursday (November 15) with the midnight screening being the first at 12.01am (Qld) at Coolangatta cinemas.

Coolangatta cinemas employee Dianne Casey said that the midnight screening is always a lot of fun.

"We encourage everyone to come dressed up and there are prizes to be won on the night," she said.

"There is always a great response from the Twilight crowd and, since it is the last movie of the saga, we expect this year to be even better."

Coolangatta cinemas will be screening Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 on Wednesday night November 14, at 9.30pm at a special price of $6 per ticket.

Twilight die-hard fan Peta Bailey said that she has had pre-booked tickets for a while now.

"We also got the pre-booked tickets to Part 1," she said.

Another fan, Kazz Preston, said on Facebook "Bring it on, can't wait!"

Full screenings will start on Thursday, November 15.

The first film saw Bella, an average teenage girl, move to Forks, Washington and fall in love with a 107-year-old vampire named Edward.

Bella and Edwards love story is followed throughout the saga with a wedding, baby and Bella's transformation in to a vampire in Breaking Dawn Part 1.
