Variety Bash crashes through Mooball

THE Variety Bash care race made a colourful pit stop at Mooball last week, on the Casino to Mullumbimby leg of their seven day journey.

More than 85 vintage cars, decked out in themes ranging from Toy Story to Hogs Breath Cafe and Mario Brothers, drove through the village on Wednesday, with some dressed-up drivers enjoying refreshments at the Victory Hotel before posing for photos at Moo Moo Cafe’s iconic giant motorbike.

The week-long event, which made its way through the Central West and New England regions of NSW from Newcastle return, finished on Saturday, raising funds for Variety – the children’s charity.

A bash takes place in each state across Australia, including two in NSW - the Variety Brydens Lawyers B to B Bash, and the Variety NSW AHA Bash, the latter passing through Mooball.
