Vaudeville night at Stokers

ARIA Award-winning performer Mic Conway will light up Stokers Siding next weekend with his unique blend of stage presence and talent.

Mr Conway boasts an extensive resume and is known as a singer, song writer, fire eater, magician, tap dancer, actor, multi-instrumentalist, juggler, latex mask maker, props builder and puppeteer.

The musician has toured Australia, Britain, USA, New Zealand and Asia and will now make a flying visit to the Tweed region with Robbie Long to launch their new CD Street of Dreams.

Rainbow Region Gigs owner Nick Hanlon said she was delighted to present the national launch of the duo's new album.

"Stokers Siding Hall will be transformed into a gracious old theatre for a day of timeless entertainment with the most charming entertainer you are ever likely to see," Ms Hanlon said.

"Adults and children alike delight in Mic Conway's old-style theatrical magic.

"To have the King of Vaudeville back into an old-style hall will be a special and memorable event. Limited tickets are available so book early to avoid disappointment.

"The special guests on the day will be the Candy Apples, a retro punk trio reminiscent of the Andrew Sisters."

The event at Stokers Siding Dunbible Memorial Hall is Sunday, October 16.

Tickets can be pre-purchase from Organic Revolution in Murwillumbah or by calling 02 6679 5074.
