Victory hit by injury blows
FOOTBALL: Melbourne Victory has confirmed star signing James Troisi has a broken collarbone and will miss the next three to four weeks.
Troisi had scans on his injury after falling heavily when going up for a header in the 1-1 draw with the Brisbane Roar on Friday night.
Those scans revealed a fracture, meaning the attacker will miss Saturday's Melbourne derby with City.
Another key Victory attacking player, Marco Rojas, could also be absent after suffering an unspecified injury in New Zealand's 2-1 loss to Mexico.
The winger was due to return to Australia on Friday and had been expected to be in Kevin Muscat's squad, possibly to start from the bench.
Melbourne City, meanwhile, will be without first-choice goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen after the Dane was sent off in Saturday night's 1-0 win over the Phoenix in Wellington.
