VIEW Club celebrates with Elvis

“ELVIS” will rock when the Twin Towns Day VIEW Club celebrates its 43rd birthday this week.

The club has chosen Elvis impersonator Rusty Roberts to entertain members as they mark a milestone in the club's history this Thursday.

In true form, proceeds from the special luncheon at South Tweeds Sports Club will go towards Learning for Life students sponsored by the club through The Smith Family.

“There are many positive aspects of the club, apart from our charitable projects,” president Kathie Diskin said.

The club provides a variety of interests for women in the region, including educational and social events.

“When I moved here, I knew no one,” Ms Diskin said.

“I now have a network of friends.

“I'm sure my life wouldn't be as fulfilling without VIEW.

“More and more women are joining VIEW because they believe in the power of education in helping to change lives and want to contribute their time to assist others,” Ms Diskin said.
