Village embraces French follies

TYALGUM is about to bid bonjour to Bastille Day with a week of fine food, wine and theatre.

The French national day is taken very seriously in the creative village of 300 residents who will hold a traditional French dinner and play at Flutterbies Cottage Cafe next Saturday.

Produced by Tyalgum’s Shepherd’s Purse Theatre Company, Moliere’s famous one-act comedy L’Amour Medicin will fill Flutterbies as guests enjoy a seven-course degustation dinner with matching wines for $150.

Celebrations will also see a high tea in Paris and a French film night on Thursday and a French Marquetta on Saturday. For details visit www.discovertyalgum.com.
