Vinnies dress Cooly rockers

IT'S rock'n'roll time again at St Vincent de Paul in Tweed Heads.

Over the last 12 months, the hard-working volunteers at the Beryl St centre have been carefully collecting retro and vintage clothing, shoes and memorabilia especially for the Cooly Rocks On nostalgia festival which will hit the border from June 1 to 11.

President Jan Parker has invited everyone to come down to the store and have fun browsing.

"The ladies and gents work hard all year to collect and save suitable clothing for this special time of year," Ms Parker said.

"The donations come from the generosity of the public which greatly helps in our cause and winter appeal and we are forever grateful to them."

The centre is in desperate need of more male volunteers.

If you can help, visit the store on 11 Beryl St and ask for Jan, or call 07) 5536 1130.
