Western Sydney Wanderers clash not do-or-die, says Popovic

WESTERN Sydney Wanderers coach Tony Popovic is not resting everything on tonight's game with FC Seoul even though the reigning Asian Champions League winners are five points behind group leader Guangzhou Evergrande.

The Wanderers had a commendable 0-0 draw with FC Seoul in the South Korean capital last month and beat the same team in the semi-final on the way to winning the tournament last season.

But Popovic (pictured) said nothing was easy in the Champions League and both teams would treat each other with respect ahead of the clash at Pirtek Stadium.

"I don't think it's do-or-die but you can take a step forward," he said.

"Whoever we play in this tournament, we are the champions so there is nothing to fear but we certainly respect all the teams.

"They also respect us and know we beat them in the semi-final last year and took a point off them a few weeks ago."
