Coach sticks with beaten Warriors

WARRIORS coach Matt Elliott has retained faith in his players to bounce back from Saturday's 18-14 loss to the Sharks, naming the same 17 to take on Manly at Bluetongue Stadium on Sunday.

Shaun Johnson and Thomas Leuluai have again been named in the halves, maintaining the distinction of being the only halves pairing among the 16 NRL clubs to start every game this season.

"We know what we need to do and we also know we'll need to be immeasurably better, right up to our best, to be able to compete with Manly," Elliott said.

The Sea Eagles are on a five-game winning streak, although all were against bottom-eight sides, and two were against the woeful Eels.
