Wastewater upgrade loan

A $35 million upgrade of the Banora Point Wastewater TreatmentPlant has been brought forward courtesy of a loan from the NSWGovernment.

Work is expected to start mid-year and be completed by theend of 2011.

The upgrade will improve the quality of effluent comingout of the plant, bringing it to a higher standard for re-use whileimproving the quality of water discharged to the estuary.
