WATCH: Is this the best first wedding dance of all time?

WEDDING guests of a Brisbane couple who surprised them by breaking into a choreographed routine during their first dance are trying to make the video go viral.

Groom Grant McMurray and bride Amelia Bailey and their bridal party of four bridesmaids and four groomsmen surprised their guests by unexpectedly breaking into a dance to Walk The Moon's "Shut Up and Dance" half way through their wedding waltz.

Guest Kelly Burgess said it was a massive surprise and it was fellow guest Jacob Skerman's idea to try and make footage go viral because it was "so well executed".

"The dance was a massive surprise to all the guests!

"The guy that posted the video, Jacob Skerman...it was his idea to try and make the video go viral...We just wanted it to go viral as it was such an incredible idea."

So far the video, shot at the couple's wedding reception at Victoria Park Golf Complex in Brisbane on September 26, has had almost 6000 views.

"It's up there with the best first wedding dance of all time!" Ms Burgess said.

What do you think?
