Weekend brings celebs to our backyard
THE Christmas holiday break saw celebrities among those enjoying the natural beauty and attractions of the Tweed Coast.
On Saturday, super model Samantha Harris dropped into Cook Island, a fifteen minute boat ride from Fingal Point, for a snorkel with her boyfriend Luke Hunt.
The ex-Tweed River High student turned Vogue cover girl posted a picture of herself on Instagram where fans excitedly commented on everything from her Seafolly swimmers to her appendix scar, and Hunt's sleeve tattoo of the 23-year-old.
It would have been much needed break for the couple after a tumultuous year - Hunt had several court appearances in 2013 due to his involvement in a fatal car accident North Sydney.
Meanwhile, on Boxing Day, the world's once sexiest couple, Brangelina, popped into Currumbin Sanctuary to pat the possums and cuddle the koalas.
Brad and Angelina, reportedly worth a combined $300 million, took their brood of six to a private area of the wildlife park to visit rescued marsupials.
You'd assume they got good value out of the family pass.
