Weekend weather is looking fine, but expect a wet June

RAIN, Hail or shine visitors Charles Keidel, Rhiannon Fisher and Liam Fisher, of Redlands, USA, are here to have fun.

Having landed on Australian soil on Tuesday they weren't about to let a bit of rain ruin their trip as they got out their Unicycles to tear up Rainbow Bay.

But the touring trio may not have to wait too long for fine weather.

The weather forecast for the weekend, and going into early next week, will be fine, mostly sunny, but with cool temperatures.

The maximum temperature for Saturday is forecast to be 21 degrees, dipping to 20 on Sunday, with minimums temps reaching 12 degrees on both days.

However, a wetter than normal June to August period is more likely for most of northern NSW and south east Queensland.
