Westbrook reaches triple-double milestone

BASKETBALL: Oklahoma City Thunder's Russell Westbrook has claimed his 50th NBA triple-double in his team's 114-10 win over the Phoenix Suns.

Westbrook recorded a career-high 22 assists, scored 26 points and picked up 11 rebounds for his 13th triple-double of the season.

The Thunder star, who leads the NBA in scoring, had not achieved the feat in three games.

He also averages double figures in points, rebounds and assists.

New Zealand star Steven Adams had 19 points and seven rebounds, while Enes Kanter added 12 points for Oklahoma City to end a two-game losing streak.

Devin Booker scored 31 points for the Suns, who have lost six of eight.
